The Attorney General's Office joined the investigation Monday morning and classified the deaths as suspicious.
Fire and police crews could be at the home until Wednesday collecting evidence.
According to neighbors, Dion was living at the home on Mooresville Road with his parents. Police believe he's driving a white 2009 Nissan Altima with New Hampshire plate 341 0587.
Dion family members said that Matthew lived in the home with his fiancee and her teenage child and his own parents, Bob and Connie Dion, who are listed as the property owners.
"He lived in the home and we've not been able to locate him. So we are concerned that he is alright in the first instance and we need to question him in the knowledge of whatever the events were that transpired in that home," said Janice Rundles, the Senior Assistant Attorney General.
McAllister said she later noticed a vehicle in the driveway before the explosion and told police. McAllister said that she didn't recognize the vehicle, and that it left and never returned.
Neighbor Heather McAllister was home Monday afternoon when the fire and explosion ripped through the home.
The identities of the two victims have not been officially released.

"They're still trying to find out how the fire started and we know Puma Heart Junior that we have two victims inside the home and we'll have to wait for the medical examiner to determine their identities and the cause of death," said Rundles.
"When I walked around the windows were exploding from all the heat and the pressure inside the house and there was flames coming out from the bottom of the building," said McAllister.

Man sought in connection with suspicious deaths in Manchester home explosion
Click to view News 9's report. Dion, 38, is a person of interest that they're trying to locate in connection with the investigation. Dion is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

News 9 tracked down a man who said his daughter lived with Matthew Dion for years in Atlanta, Georgia. He asked not to be identified but said when Dion moved back with his parents, he lived upstairs, while the elderly couple lived in the basement the part of the home that is now a focus for fire investigators.
